First Glimpse at the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
Toyota recently unveiled the first edition of its new model, the Toyota Grand Highlander: a three-row SUV named after the popular Toyota Highlander.
Your dealer in Saint-Eustache has gathered in one place everything we know about this new member of the Toyota family.
Toyota Hybrid SUV Engines
The Grand Highlander comes standard with the 2.4L 4-cylinder engine already available in the current Highlander model.
If you prefer a hybrid powertrain, you have two choices. First, a powertrain that includes a 2.5L engine and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive.
Then, the highlight is the engine that Toyota seems to be pushing for the Grand Highlander: The Max Hybrid powertrain. This consists of a 2.4L turbocharged engine and an electric motor. According to the manufacturer, this powertrain is capable of:
Developing 363 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque
Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds
5,000 lbs of towing capacity
Toyota Grand Highlander Interior
The new Toyota SUV offers several standard features and accessories such as:
A 12.3-inch center screen
Wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
A wireless cell phone charging station
And much more!
While this list of features is quite interesting, it is just as important to note that the Grand Highlander will offer up to 2,775L of cargo space.
We'll know more when the vehicle release date is close, but we can already expect a price range for the Grand Highlander in Canada that is between the Toyota Highlander and
the Toyota Sequoia.
